The question ”What is the Word of God” has answers all through the bible. The word of God is everything to man. According to the bible the, this is the dispensation of knowledge and God wants to relate with man through the knowledge of his word only.
In other words if you don’t know the word of God, your relationship with God will be impossible. God values his word more than his name. Biblically, the word of God is the only begotten son of God that became flesh and took on the name Jesus for the salvation of man.
For this reason it’s very critical to understand what is the word of God.
JOHN 1
#1. The Word Of God Is God
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shined in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
FROM VERSE 9 – 14
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
WHO IS GOD?
Simple, God is his WORD.
The bible says God honors his word more than his name.
Jesus said; I and my father we are one.
John 1:1 says;
According to the bible, we have God the father,v the son and the Holy Spirit. In the book of John chapter 1 verse 1, the word of God which was with the father from the beginning became flesh and took on the name Jesus for the purpose of salvation of man.
The bible stated clearly in that same verse that the same word of God is God. Jesus himself has confirmed in the same book of John, that him and the father are one, no difference.
In the beginning was the word.
The first thing we heard that was in the beginning is called THE WORD.
Then the bible says, the name of this person called the word, was God.
John 1:1 (Message Bible)
John 1:1 The Word was first, the Word present to God, God present to the Word. The Word was God, in readiness for God from day one.
The message bible says; the first thing that ever existed was the word. And that word was God.
John 1:1 (amplified)
John 1:1 IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6.]
So the real identity of who God is, is the word. If you know how the word of God looks like, that is how God looks like in appearance.
God does not look like a man, God simply looks like the word of God.
#2. The Word Of God transforms men to be gods
It is only the word of God that has the ability to transform a mortal man to a god.
Psalms 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. KJV
St. John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? St. John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
This means if you stay on the word for a long time, if you keep digesting, assimilating the word in to your system, you will become god at some point.
The indivisible elements, the atom, the substance put together to form the person called God is the word of God.
Whenever you are meeting the word, you are meeting God directly. You want to have conversation with God? Talk with his word.
THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN BE VALUABLE IN THE SITE OF God is when you have enough of his word abiding in you.
#3. The Word Of God Is The Love Of God
The only way you can love God is to love his word.
If you think you love God, please read this before you continue;
John 14:21
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
This means to love God means to love his word. Once you have the word of God abiding in you, then the love of God will automatically live in you. It’s impossible to love God without his word abiding in you.
John 14:14-16
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
The only way God can abide in you is when his words abide in you.
The bible says;
The word of God is the wisdom Of God
John15 : 7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
There is a lot in john 14:6-
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Verse 12 says;
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
The Word Of God Is Faith
Faith comes from the word of God. Where
To believe in Jesus, you have to stay on the word for quite a while. Jesus is the word. And that passage is simply saying; he that believe in the word.
You cannot believe in someone you do not know, and to know, you have to sit on the study of it.
We are on a mission to prove who God is;
Look at verse 6 where Philip asked Jesus to show them the father;
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
What did Jesus answer them?
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

The summary of everything Jesus said here is that; he is the father.
If you have seen me, you have seen the father.
Jesus question can also be put up like; so I have been with you all this while, still you could not recognize that I am the father?
In other words, the word of God is the father because it was the word of God that was transformed to Jesus
Look, this is where we miss it, and we have to retrace our steps;
Stop seeing Jesus as that person that was once on earth, as God saving and helping man, then you are now calling on him to come and help you too.
And may be one day, he will visit you and all your problem will be over.
Christianity is a reality, but we have been playing the virtual game of hoping that the God of mercy will one day have mercy. ERROR.
But you have been waiting for decades, and may be now you are frustrated.
If you do not recognize who God is now and sits down on the word to get your freedom, you may be more frustrated.
Look, it was the word of God that came to save you, but he had to take up the name Jesus to do that. The only God that is almighty God is the word of God.
I believe no believer with the spirit of understanding can still ask the question What is the Word of God.
Let only the word of God be the only God you look for, stay with, sleep with and wake up with every day, then checkout the difference in your result.
You worship God, you thank God, you praise God, but every other thing sought them out with the word of God by spending time with his word, then check out the difference.
The word of God is the presence of God and the presence of God is the word of God.
Jesus as a person had gone back to the father, and the only Jesus that is still available for man now is the word of God.
The only means God wants to relate with every believer is by the word of God. The only way God wants to present himself to every believer is by the word of God.
The only way you can gain from God is through his word. The only way you can truly enjoy God as a believer is by his word.
If you want to gainfully enjoy God as a believer, use the word of God, be familiar with the word, love the word.
You cannot use any other means to spend quality time with God than his word.
You can never love God, if not by the love of his word.
You want God to give you attention, give attention to his word. If you were asking the question ‘What is the Word of God‘, you have definitely gotten the answer
Who is the Holy Spirit?
This is where a lot of Christians, even believers do not understand. A lot of people including believers are ignorant of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the third person in trinity but it is equally important.
We did not hear so much about Jesus in the Old Testament. According to the bible, God the father was the one
Communicating with the Israelite, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, all the prophets and so on. We did not hear a mention of Jesus nor the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament.
Therefore the personality that presented himself all through the Old Testament was God the Father.
And God promised them Jesus will come as their savior. And at a point Jesus actually came.
Immediately Jesus came, the father was no more appearing or communicating with them, he pulled off from the scene completely, except when he officially announced Jesus at the point of baptism.
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Then Jesus came into the scene for the salvation of man, and after Jesus fulfilled that assignment, he left the earth to the father;
John 16:7
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if Igo not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

- it is expedient I go away, meaning I will leave the earth, meaning for now every work on earth is handed over to another.

What is the comforter coming to do?
To teach and to show you the word of God.
Meaning strictly, that this is the DISPENSATION OF KNOWLEDGE.
The Direct Commitment of the Father and Jesus on Earth Presently?
- THE father is no more having any direct commitment on earth
- Jesus is no more having any direct commitment on earth
Who is the God in charge of the Earth Now?
Jesus said, the Holy Spirit is on earth to teach us and to show us all things to come.
The Holy Spirit will teach us the word and show us the word. You need to discover from the bible that the holy spirit is the spirit of the word. The Holy Spirit is here to teach us the word of and to show us the word of God.
What is the Word of God? is better put up as Who is The Word of God?

This means it was the word of God that transformed itself to become man – and the word became flesh. I strongly believe that the question ‘what is the Word of God’ cannot be asked by a believer that is baptized with the Holy Spirit

The above chapter simply defines the origin of the word of God. The first thing that was found in the beginning of creation before the created was the word of God. This is a confirmation that God used the word of God to create everything.
the bible referred to the word that became flesh as God.
it also means that the original name of that person that came to die for man is called THE WORD OF GOD.
It also mean the word of God is a person.
The original name of Jesus from the foundation of the world is called the word of God.
It means also that it was the word of God that came to die for man.
it also mean that it was the word of God that died, resurrected, to save man spiritually.
This means Jesus dearth and resurrection was for the salvation of the spirit man. This was a general foundation laid whereby your physical well-being can thrive on it and regain its dominion as God promised Adam in Genesis 1:28

How Does our Physical Being now Benefit from What Jesus Did on The Cross? How Can the Salvation of The Spirit also Affect Physical being?
It was the word of God that saved the spirit, God has also ordained that the same word of God will also save the soul and the body. When we talk of our physical well-being, we mean the fulfillment of all the promises of G fro Genesis 1:28 to revelation.
How do you become the head and not the tail, above and never beneath. Apart from your own salvation, you cannot receive anything from God if not by knowledge.

An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

All your attention should be turned to THE WORD OF GOD, and the Holy Spirit will help you to understand the word.
I do not know what you will need the father and Jesus again for, than to worship, thank and praise.

So, having understood who the Holy Spirit is, we can now discuss the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
The Word Of God Is The Only Thing That Can Change Man
To control your feelings, after being born again and baptized with the Holy Spirit, you stay on the word of God with the spirit of revelation and understanding.
The word of God will renew your mind, build your spirit to overpower your flesh. The word of God is your spiritual food, once your spirit eats enough and enlarge, it will subdue the flesh.
If your spirit is not build up, the flesh will overpower it and be dictating the pace. When your mind is renewed, you will have the mind of Christ and think like God.
You will judge everything move, decision after the knowledge of God. This means you live by the word of God, not the dictates of the flesh.
When you think like God, you will be having results like God.
The bible simply recommends that we should renew our mind with the word of God
How The Word of God Helps to Control Mind From Negative Thoughts
T o control the mind from negative thoughts mean you have to change your mindset. Controlling the mind from negative thoughts mean to make it to always think positive instead of thinking negative. The best way to achieve this is to completely change the mindset to positivity.
What is mindset
Your mindset is a set of beliefs that shape how you make sense of the world and yourself. It influences how you think, feel, and behave. Your mindset is created by what you see, hear, feel, meditate on. The 2 most important influence to mindset is what you see, and what you hear.
Therefore to change your mindset, you must change what you see and what you hear.
How The Word of God Can Change Your Mindset From Negative to Positive
Stay on the word of God,
Saturate your mind with the word of God, let the whole of your being be filled with the word. then you will think like God, you will feel like God. The word of God builds your spirit to overpower your flesh, to silence the flesh.
This is what bible mean by dying to the flesh, you are no more sensitive to the dictates of the flesh, you are only sensitive to God. God is the one always talking through your spirit. The flesh will be completely silenced.
When God wants you to do something, he puts an urge in you, not feelings, so feelings can be completely subdued in the system. It is only when your spirit is not build up and is weak, that is when your flesh will be lively, but if you build your spirit, your flesh is silenced.

How to Renew Your Mind
To renew your mind means to completely change it from the old way of thinking to new way of thinking. it is to discard the old mindset and take on a new one. It means to train your mind to think like God. The word of God is the mind of God.
The word of God is God
The word of God is the God with man is a more straightforward answer to the question what is the Word of God?. Believe me, this is the God that will answer you at any point you touch him, this is the God that will provide all your need, this the God that will give you the power you need on earth.
You should remember it was the word of God that turn himself to flesh to become Jesus for the purpose of saving man.
This means the word of God is the real Jesus, hence the Jesus you see is the word of God inform of man. Jesus as a person for the purpose of what he came for, had finished that assignment and step aside for who i will still call the real Jesus.
People are still looking upon the person of JESUS, you will not gain much from that personality that was once on earth. The JESUS available for man now is THE WORD OF GOD. JESUS that came to die had announced that he had gone to the father, he had finished his assignment on earth and left for the next personality to take over.
it was the word of God that told GOD, yes, i will volunteer to go and save man, the word is the way, the word is the truth, the word is the life. it was the word of God that volunteered to come and save man, and the father told the word, so you take the name JESUS and turn into flesh and look just like man before you can qualify because a man’s blood must be shed for man’s salvation.
After the word of God had finished that assignment, that version of the word had to remain with God as evidence.
The salvation of our spirit was complete after Jesus died and rose. For man to enjoy the evidence, the manifestation of what Jesus did on the cross, on earth. For that reality to show on your body.
For you to have your authority back, your dominion back, your power, your prosperity.
All these things i have mention has to do with your real life on earth, your physical life on earth. For you to experience all the blessings that God has promised in the bible through his word.
God made those promises through his word, you can only experience those promises through His word.
Therefore Jesus had left the earth and handed us to his real person which is THE WORD OF GOD.
THE WORD OF GOD IS THE GOD WITH US NOW, THIS IS THE ONLY GOD APPOINTED BY THE FATHER FOR US TO LOOK UP TO, NOW.
People spend a lot of time praying each day for Jesus to help, Father help, destroy, kill. God will have mercy and answer our prayer, but this is not God’s plan for man.
GOD’S PLAN FOR MAN
it is all over the bible; before you call i will answer, you are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, they will come against you one way and fall before you seven ways. Whatever is born of God overcome the world.
We are all praying because we are not seeing these results, these promises, but did God lie? NO
So how do we supposed to exact these promises?
God has also said in his word that you cannot get any of his promises if not by knowledge.
So the word of God is the God we supposed to sit with, eat with, sleep with, wake up with.
This is the person that will renew your mind and make you think like God in order to have God kind of result. The word of God is the only trusted thing that makes God happy
Why Did the Holy Spirit Came
The Holy spirit came to teach us this God, to show us this God, to help us understand this person by revealing this person to us.
So the more you spend time with the God called THE WORD OF GOD, THE MORE YOU ARE TRANSFORMED TO BECOME LIKE GOD
The bible has said that the word of God is the wisdom of God and the power of God.
The Word of God is The Kingdom of God
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
His dear son here is the word that that became flesh. You were being translated into the kingdom of the word. The word of God is the kingdom of God.
Translating us into the kingdom of his dear son is not talking about heaven that Jesus said, he will prepare for the believers after he has gone to the father. This other kingdom of his dear son is already in existence from the foundation of the world.
Being transferred into the kingdom of his dear son here means you have entered into the realm where God operate, it means you have entered into the realm of God.
The Word of God Is The Creator Of Heaven And Earth
All things were made by the word and without the word was not anything made that was made.
The word of God is the creator of everything on earth. If you can only stay with the word long enough, you will start creating things yourself. The word create, but not of himself, someone will have to speak it, just like God did.
Hence we can say, the word of God is the instrument through which things are created. If you do not speak it or use it, it will be there, and nothing will be created.
There are unlimited things that needs to be created, but nobody is exploring it. The word is the tool for creation, the only tool. People needs to know, this is the only tool for creation, and there is no other tool you can use to create anything whatsoever.
If nobody uses it, nothing will be created.
Angels were created by the word
Satan and all his demons were once angels of God until they rebel against God and God threw them down to earth and that was how they became Satan and demons.
All the angels of God were created by the word of God, Angels are ministers it means they can also be destroyed by the word. This means what you can cheaply use as a weapon to dismiss any demon is the word of God. In other words, a man of the word will pray less.
Demons Were Created by The Word of God
If you are filled with the word of God demons know, because that is what was used to create them. They know what can destroy them, that’s why they as asked Jesus “Have you come to destroy us before our time? Every living thing has an idea of what can destroy them.
When a snake sees you with kerosene, he cannot come near you, that is not the time to look for your trouble, because they still want to live, same thing happens to demons when they discover you are loaded with the word.
Demons know, use, and carry everything that are directly opposite to the word to relate with man, that’s why their primary tool is deception. They know very well that your faith in the word of God is their destruction. For this reason, all their interaction with you is to derail you from the word of God.
The word carry life while demons carry death. The devil come not but for to steal, to kill and to destroy. This is what the bible says.
The word of God is light
Acquiring light of the word is spiritual understanding. There are amazing benefits of spiritual understanding. The Word of God is light while Satan and demons are darkness. Hence once they come in contact with the word, they completely lose all they hang on, they become useless. Wherever there is light, darkness loses relevance.
It is like you take a fish out from water to land, it cannot survive on land because this is not its habitat. Hence a man loaded with the word of God, from afar, demons will run from such a one. And this is a cheap way to stay in peace on earth.
All the devils were originally created by the word of God and they can only be destroyed by the word of God
The Word of God is The Wisdom of God
The Word of God is The Power of God
Power to become is in the word, eyes have not seen, nor even heard, nor it has come to the heart of man what God has for them that love him.
I wish we all know the plan of God for each and every one of us on earth, not in heaven. In fact you can know that of heaven; Eternal life.
But what of the one on earth? If eyes have not seen, nor ear heard, it means it is hidden, you were to discover it, and through the word. It means it is buried in the manual (the word). Everybody is being referred by God to the manual, for our daily living and destiny at large.
The bible says: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and other things shall be added. And what are those things; materials.
And the word was made flesh;
This means the word has the power to become anything by its inherent creative power.
Whatever you create out of the word carries glory. The glory, the firm, the power that man is seeking is not in material things but in the word. It is man’s greed that has turned the destiny of man upside down. God says seek the kingdom first, I will give you materials things.
Man says no that will be too slow, I need the material first; this is turning the whole process upside down. Greed is synonymous with unbelief. It means man doesn’t trust God to fulfill his promise..
The word of God is very important and knowing and understanding the word is significant, therefor I have so elaborately answered the question what is the Word of God to the satisfaction of many.
