The Importance Of Knowing Jesus – Saviour

There are many who do not know who Jesus is. It has always been very significant to emphasize the importance of Knowing Jesus, our saviour to those who are not aware, those who do not believe, those who do not have Jesus yet in their lives.

John 14:6,7

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Who is Jesus?

Jesus, also known as Jesus Christ or Jesus of Nazareth, is a central figure in Christianity and is considered by Christians to be the Son of God and the Savior of humanity. Here are some key aspects of Jesus’ identity and significance:

Son of God: According to Christian belief, Jesus is the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit). He is believed to be divine in nature, sharing the essence of God and possessing attributes of deity.

Messiah and Savior:

Christians believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah (Christ) who came to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament and bring salvation to humanity. His sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection from the dead are central to Christian faith, as they are believed to provide forgiveness of sins and eternal life to those who believe in him.

Life and Teachings:

The life and teachings of Jesus, as recorded in the New Testament Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), form the foundation of Christian belief and practice. Jesus’ teachings emphasized love, compassion, forgiveness, humility, and the kingdom of God. His miracles, parables, and interactions with people reflect his divine authority and wisdom.

Crucifixion and Resurrection:

Christians believe that Jesus was crucified, died, and was buried, but on the third day, he rose from the dead, demonstrating his victory over sin and death. The resurrection is considered a pivotal event in Christian faith, affirming Jesus’ divine identity and offering hope for believers in the promise of eternal life.

Role in Salvation:

Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross is understood as atoning for the sins of humanity and reconciling people to God. Believers trust in Jesus as their Savior and Lord, acknowledging him as the source of forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life.

Second Coming:

Christians anticipate the return of Jesus Christ in the future, referred to as the Second Coming. This event is believed to herald the final judgment, the restoration of all things, and the establishment of God’s eternal kingdom.

Jesus’ identity as the Son of God, Savior, and central figure in Christian faith has had a profound impact on individuals, societies, and cultures throughout history. His teachings of love, compassion, and redemption continue to inspire and guide millions of people around the world in their faith, values, and actions.

JOHN 1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shined in darkness; and the darkness comprehended

There is a lot in john 14:6-26

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Verse 12 says;

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

You cannot believe in someone you do not know, and to know, you have to study the person.

Let’s do experiment;

From there you should conclude who JESUS is.

There is nothing like the help of God, replace it with the word of God, the help of God is the word of God.

The only JESUS that you need that will ever be of benefit, of help to you is the word.

If you like call the name JESUS 1 trillion times, it will never make any impact if you do not have enough of the word of God in you. it is the spiritual understanding of the name JESUS that generates the power behind the name

The name Jesus is not the power of God, the word of God is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

The personality called Jesus, is not the name, the personality Jesus is the word.

If you have enough of the word in you, even if you do not call Jesus, Jesus has already reproduced himself in you. You have the power of God through the word.

The name will only be meaningful when you know the person

Most people invest more on the name, than the person. The person is not in the name, the person is in the word, and not just the word, the revelation or spiritual understanding of the word. The spiritual understanding of the word of God is what generates the faith you need.

I told you the name Jesus came only because of salvation of man, and the person that took up that name to save man is called the word of God. This is the first importance of knowing Jesus which is for your salvation.

So to truly have Jesus, you must have the spiritual understanding of the word of God.

i didn’t say you are not saved, but your salvation was only for your spirit. Your mindset was not affected, and God needs your mind for your relationship with God to be effective. That’s why the bible admonish you should renew your mind after salvation.

The dispensation of knowledge

If he called them gods unto whom the word of God came, the scriptures cannot be broken, gods do not need help. They render help.

We do not understand the plan of God. Things have changed in the kingdom, yes things do change in the kingdom.

God has plans, and his plans are in dispensations. The time or phase of salvation had gone. Jesus came, executed it and left, he left, I said he left.

Jesus finished the work of salvation and left

If I am lying that he left, did he also lie when he said he is going.

John 14 –

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

God had done with that phase and everybody was offered salvation, even those that are not yet born.

The only thing people need to do is to cue in and accept salvation.

But the execution was done thousands of years ago.

And it was Jesus himself who introduced us to the next dispensation which is the dispensation of knowledge.

Jesus actually introduced man to the person that was to mastermind this dispensation, and that person is the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of the word, and all he came to do is to help us understand the word.

John 14 – The Importance Of Knowing Jesus Th

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Confirming that he is to mastermind the current dispensation which is the dispensation of knowledge

Please read this between lines, it is the most important part;

The importance of Knowing JESUS is enormous. Jesus is the word of God and when you come in contact with the revelation of the word, you are definitely in contact with the power of God and the wisdom of God.

So Jesus is the wisdom of God and the power of God.

You cannot reject Jesus. You were created by Jesus for Jesus. God created you for himself. To reject Jesus is to rebel against God. Jesus is your life, to reject Jesus is to reject your life. Give your life to Jesus today; accept Jesus into your heart and be born of God now, it may be late after now!!!!! Do not postpone. Please follow this steps to obey God now.
