Life after salvation has been ups and down for many believers, most times this has been the reason some are not enjoying it, some are rather frustrated. Some has taken to the notion that they are born again to suffer.
This is all due to ignorance of what every believer is called to do, the life we were called to live. How to Live and excel After Salvation basically explain the reason why we were saved or why God even created man.
Life Of The First Adam
At the point you are saved, you can go to heaven if rapture comes. Remember in Genesis 1:27 & 28 after God created man in his own image (he molded clay, used clay to make a sketch, then breadth into the clay.
The breath now transform the clay into different organs of the body – fine skin, head hand, stomach with intestines, heart living eyes, all the organs were formed by that breath.
God only use the clay to sketch a figure of how man will look like, and after molding, the clay was still clay, no change; there was no any form of transformation yet.
If you touch your body now, it is not clay. If the tree or any plant or other animals die and decay now, they turn to clay with time, but they were not made from clay.
Hence God was just using clay to sketch how he wants man to look like. Just to have a clear picture of how man should look like.
It was only after God breadth into the clay that the flesh was formed with all the organs and body parts.
That breadth was what God use to form the real man which is the spirit that dwells in the flesh, so the breadth of God was the spirit of man. God simply reproduced himself into man by that breadth.
Hence the man was perfect and exactly like God but ignorance of who he was made man to fall.
So Adam was automatically perfect after creation without having to pass through knowledge acquisition, and that was why he failed.
The Earth Was Created For Man
After Jesus saved man from the fall, God told man, for you to be like me again, you must think like me, and the word of God is the thought of God, so stay on the word till your mind is renewed to think just like me before you can be like me.
This means no inheritance till you are able to think like God or renew your mind by changing your mindset through the word. This is how to be fruitful as a believer
This was in verse 27. In verse 28 God now prophesy on this image.
And God bless them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the foul of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
If you check this statement; it is a statement of complete revelation of authority over the whole earth and all that is in it.
And man having lost the image to sin had lost his complete authority to Satan, so instead of man dominating the earth, Satan was now dominating man and the earth.
The earth was never made for Satan but for man, God only throw Satan into the earth, as a way of humiliating him so low that even man will have to be kicking him around.
But man did not understand, he lost it. So Jesus came and restore man back. Remember, after God created man in his image or nature, he spoke into man by way of blessing him.
The Word Of God Created Man
Gen. 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
The breadth of God that gave life to man was the word. Jesus confirmed this when he said In the new testament;
“The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life”
This means that it was the word of God that created man.
Man Must Live By The Word Of God
If the word of God created man, then the life of man must be by the word of God. There’s a confirmation of this statement; when God had to speak his word into man by blessing him. This blessings was to define the type of life that man was to live. Note that the blessing came by the word of God.
This is another prove that man must live by the word of God, and what were those words that man was to live by;
Fruitfulness came by the word of God.
Multiplication came by the word of God.
Dominion came by the word of God.
Replenishing came by the word of God.
Authority came by the word of God.
Life After Salvation
All that we have described above is what happened to man before the fall of Adam. You have note that it was the word of God that gave life to man during creation, secondly, that God used the same word of God to define the type of life that man was going to live by speaking blessings into man, thirdly, the word of God was going out directly from God to man. It did not need to be revealed because man was perfect.
What is important here is that God’s approach has not changed even after the salvation. It’s still that same word of God that created man that had to come down, turn to flesh and took up the name Jesus for the purpose of salvation.
Secondly, after salvation, God has made it a law, a command that the same word of God is what will still define the type of life that man is going to live.
The only difference is; that word is no more coming direct from God to man, it has to be revealed from what is known as the “bible”, and this is why the Holy Spirit came. The Holy Spirit came specifically for the purpose of teaching and revealing the word of God to man.
Only The Holy Spirit Can Teach And Reveal The Word Of God.
The Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
The Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
The Acts 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
The Acts 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven abo¹ve, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
The Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
This is important and we all have to understand it. The Holy Spirit is the only one that can teach and reveal the word of God. He is the only one that has this mandate, no human being is able to reveal or teach the, not even your pastor.
There’s what I want to establish here. The Holy Spirit can only empower men with the spirit of revelation and understanding who will be able to have that understanding and revelation and then teach others.
St. John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
This means it’s the Holy Spirit that will teach them to teach others. In other words, whatever these men receive from the Holy Spirit is what they suppose to give to others. The question is; which one would you prefer? Whether you accept it or not, the second option has disadvantages;
- There’s the human factor in delivering the messages the same way they received it from the Holy Spirit.
- The person delivering this message is talking to a group of people, not only you. When God is talking to you, he will be addressing issues that are perculiar to you alone, and following the scale of preference. In this case, your needs will be effectively impacted.
You cannot know what you need. No fellow man can detect another man’s need. Only God knows what we need. This is why the bible advise thant we should always pray in the spirit, because we do not know what to pray for.
This Is why most of our prayers are not answered because God cannot give you what will hurt you, no matter how many times you ask for it. The Holy Spirit will always direct us straight to the exact thing we need.
I am not asking you not to listen to pastor, teacher, or have a church, no. You must have a pastor and where to worship, these are bible recommendations.
But 80 percent of your spiritual growth will only come from the revealed word by the Holy Spirit during your private studies, and only 20% of that growth will come from church services and activities.
Therefore you cannot attend church services alone and expect any reasonable spiritual growth. You must raise a private alter where you and God are in constant fellowship through the spirit of revelation and understanding of the revealed knowledge of the word of God.
It’s important to note that God created is for himself and relates with us individually, not as a group. Your relationship with God must be personal and has nothing to do with church services. Unfortunately many christians have missed It here.
They believe they are christians just for the fact that they have choosen to go to church and not mosque. Those christians reason going to church as a service to God.
Our actions surposed to be out of what we believe, but many christians go to church not because they believed anything but because that’s where they were born to see their parents go. It’s their family church.
Before you believe in something, enough knowledge must have been aquired to convince and convict you on that thing. This is what the bible calls faith.
The faith must be build first before the consequential action. The combination of these two is what produce result. If faith without action is dead, action without faith is also dead.
Understand also that the Holy Spirit can be teaching you, not only from the bible but through reading and listening to sound chrstian books, messages.
Some times the Holy Spirit talks to you outside of your private studies and this takes us to our relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Our Relationship With The Holy Spirit
We are still on “life after salvation”. Cresting a relationship with the Holy Spirit immediately after salvation is a must. It’s something we can’t do without. First, we need to know who is the Holy.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Who is The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person in trinity or godhead. We have God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit.
They are three in one according to the bible. What you need to know is that they are all one, you cannot separate one from another. If one is here, it means all of them are there.
Some people give less attention to the Holy Spirit because they think he is the least, according to them the father and the son are more important. All of them are equally important.
If you have less regard for one, you will definitely miss all of them. In fact, according to Jesus, if you sin against the father or the son.
You will be forgiven, but if you sin against the Holy Spirit, you can never be forgiven. It means the mercy of God on a man automatically cease once the man has sin against the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 63:10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
St. Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
St. Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
If the Holy Spirit is this significant to the almighty God. I don’t know who that man is to give less attention to the Holy Spirit.
St. Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
That was John the Baptist telling people that he is baptising people with water, but that Jesus baptism will be with Holy Spirit and fire. The Holy Spirit baptism is for every believer.
What I’m I trying to prove to you? The Holy Spirit came for everybody. Every believer must receive the Holy Spirit and be baptized in him. It’s mandatory.
You cannot accept Jesus and be unwilling to accept the Holy Spirit. They are all the same, one cannot do without another. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Christ. The spirit of Christ is Christ. He is Jesus in another form.
The Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
The Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
The Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
The Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
When Jesus was about to leave the earth, he told the desciples not to do anything but shot themselves in a room, pray and wait till they were endued or baptized with the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is an empowerment for life on earth after salvation.
You can never succeed on earth as a believer without the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said he is our helper. If you don’t need help then do not look for the Holy Spirit.
The Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
This means the success of whatever Jesus came to do on earth completely depended on the ministry of the holy. If not he would not have been baptized with the Holy Spirit before starting his mission on earth.
Do not forget that Jesus was the word of God that became flesh and took upon the name “Jesus” for the purpose of salvation. Jesus came as God the son, do not forget that they are three in one. Still, Jesus had to be baptized with the Holy Spirit to be able to the salvation process
Your authority and dominion, blessings, fruitfulness; everything that has to do with life after salvation will have to come through the revealed knowledge and understanding of the word of God.
And the level of fruitfulness is directly proportional to the level of understanding of the word.
You have to understand that the word of God is a spirit, it can never be those letters on the surface of the bible. The word of God has to be revealed to you. This is why the Holy Spirit came, primarily to teach us the word of God through the spirit of revelation.
Spiritual understanding of God’s word is the wisdom of God – And this is what God himself refers to as his knowledge.
This coming back of this blessing authority, dominion, power, fruitfulness in Gen 1:28 is what the bible refers to as conformation in Romans 12 or renewing the new man (image or nature).
This is why the bible says you should work out your own salvation hence consistence dwelling on the light that comes from the knowledge of God’s word till an explosive breakout of his power in your inner man will do 2 things to you;
(1) Giving you back the blessing, authority, dominion over the earth and all that is in it.
(2) drive you toward a perfect image of Christ. Salvation only impacted your spirit. Only your spirit is saved, ready to relate with God again.
That’s why it’s called born of the spirit. It’s your spirit that is born again, even your mind received very little impact, in that you were convicted, meaning there was a change of mind. You decided to believe otherwise because of the little knowledge you received.
And the bible in Romans 12 adviced us to completely renew our mind after born again using the revealed knowledge of the word of God.
Living in Dominion
Bringing back or getting back your dominion and authority over the earth and all that is in it including Satan is by the revealed knowledge which is the Spiritual understanding of God’s words or revelation or light.
The truth is that every promise you find in the bible, you can only get them or appropriate them to yourself through knowledge.
By knowledge I mean Spiritual understanding or insight into that promise.
Believe me I would advise Christians, do a research of any area you are lacking behind, you can also use other Christians documented discoveries in form of books, dvds, tapes peculiar to your area of need, to gain your dominion in that area.
Therefore you can gain the knowledge and understanding through anointed books. For example, the only way you can be rich is by having a giving heart or developing giving habit as an attribute using the knowledge of God’s word.
But
- You have to understand what is giving and receive light or spiritual understanding on giving.
The moment you search, study and receive spiritual understanding on giving, grace for giving will enter you and you’ll give with result.
Jesus was in a crowd and the power to heal was present but nobody was healed; because they did not believe.
Why did they not believe?
No understanding.
Why was there no understanding?
There was no knowledge
The day you understand, you will not wait for people to pave way for you to pass; you will tear the roof and enter the room.
There were many sick people still waiting out for when the crowd will be less or when some people will be tired and go home so they can have a chance.
But somebody with understanding arrived and discovered a door through the roof where there was never a door. This is what understanding does; it will make you to break through walls.
Understanding is what brings faith; there is no faith without understanding.
The renewal is a process, as you are gaining the light, your dominion is being restored, and certain things are tearing apart on their own automatically.
When God spoke to them in Gen1:28, it was automatic. The light you are gaining is what is talking now; remember it is the same word of God.
God spoke as a spirit, the light you gained replace God and talk in the spirit. The bible calls it renewal: the light enter you and cause transformation from feebleness to giant.
The light will enter and replace timidity with boldness, poverty with riches, and sickness with healing. Once the correction is done in your spirit it will show in the physical.
The letter you see in the bible, they are natural, the light you receive is the supernatural words that carry power, that is the God – the word of God is God – that is the spiritual food you need, it releases the authority over sickness, poverty, death.
That is the sword that fights anything that is not of God in your life – you may not see them but the light sees them and the truth is that those spirit words have the ability to manifest or bring themselves to reality,
Nothing flesh or substance can turn into spirit, no, the revelation is only one way – spirit to physical. Never physical to spirit. When you contact enough light on riches, wealth, your spirit will definitely become rich.
That light in your spirit will turn to flesh and you will equally become rich. When the light is enough in you to turn you into riches, you will know. In fact you will unconsciously stand up and shout; I can never be poor.
This is how we gain enough faith to turn impossibility to possibility.
Whatever passes through that cycle to turn itself from the spirit to physical is permanent.
This is why the bible says;
“Whatever God does is permanent”
Jesus said “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life – if they are spirit then you don’t see them.
This means you do not see the real word of God. As long as those letters in the bible are visible, they are not the word of God, but they contain the word of God. They act as guide to direct you into accessing the word.
You must understand this, if not you will be eating sand, thinking you are eating food, and of course instead of doing you good, it will be doing you harm.
This is why many people think life after salvation is more difficult because they are not living according to God’s instructions in the manual Why, they did not read the manual very well.
GO FOR GOD, AND GO FOR GOD WITH ALL OF YOU THEN YOU WILL HAVE A RESULT THAT IS FROM GOD. NOT ALL RESULTS ARE FROM GOD.
You need to also learn about results that are from God. So that you can always distinguish between the two.
When I am talking about accessing the light of God’s word, I am not referring to catching a piece of revelation in one day and think you are done.
This is the realm we live in permanently as believers. This is our food, the word of God is our life, this is our victory, our power, the only trust we have, our assurance,
our inheritance, our JESUS, our hope, our trust, our perfection, this is our future, our today, our tomorrow, and this is our eternity.
How to attain success without limit
Joshua 1:8
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
I also know that eyes has not seen nor ear heard what God has in store for those who love him.
What makes you think you cannot be the owner of something bigger than AMAZON, FACEBBOOK, BILL GATE.
Who told you God rather love these people who are not believers more than you, who told you God does not want you to be the richest man in the world, who told you God does not want you to be the most successful man or woman the world.
Who said you cannot discover what the whole world is tripping for.
Those people has gotten to that height of success because they put in their all to get to the root of the principles that commands the power they power they need to get to the top.
What do I mean?
They all depended on something to get to where they are, it might be demonic inclination, it might not. They might simply higher experts to use technologically discovered principles to beat their competitors.
What I mean is that they had gotten to the root of doing what must be done to get to where they are.
Everything is competing with everything in the world. You have to go deeper than everyone to get higher than everyone.
Even to discover any cutting edge idea, something must have left you for it, either sleepless night, so much of reading and thinking.
It took so many years of trial and failures to discover electrity. Even when it was discovered, there was limitation on its usage, it has taken many other peoples ideas over decades to discover how best the light can be used, applied in different areas of life.
Someone discovered electricity, but someone else discovered how it can be used to barb the hair, drive motor, power a dam and countless things that electricity can be applied
Do you know that the word of God is the wisdom of God? Do you Know that Jesus who is the word of God is the wisdom and the power of God?
The owner of Amazon, Bill Gate, the owner of Facebook; they never use God to build those conglomerates, or at least they never use the wisdom of the word of God.
I am not sure they are born again. If all these people are wiser than you, it shows your level of laxity, backwardness, laziness, lack of understanding.
This is simply telling you to wake up, from your slumber.
God HIMSELF honors his WORD more than HIS name, who are you to live without the word of God forming the greater part of you.
Wake up with the word, sleep with the word, dream the word, eat the word, think the word, meditate the word, and turn yourself to become the word of God or turn the word of God to become you.
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
They looked unto God continually, till the light of who God is becomes part of their being and that was when their shame disappeared.
The only way, you can become god is to keep looking into the word of God till the light of God’s word completes the transformation of your being from mortality to immortality.
Joshua 1:8
John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
DO MORE OF THE MEDITATION
I challenge you approach a perfect means; do more of meditation of God’s word than read them. I discover God does not like or delight in talking to you directly like talking to you through revelation from his word.
Revelation comes through meditation; staying and thinking on a piece of subject till you gain absolute understanding of the thought behind it.
And in this case till you are able to crack into the mind of God concerning that subject.
Do not just read the bible and keep reading and going; many things will be passing you by. Sit back and mutter on some matters till you understand them completely.
