The Wisdom of God is different from what we generally refer to as wisdom in the world. The Wisdom of God has to come from God, no other source than God. Any wisdom not from God is a different thing entirely and can never work as God.
What is The Wisdom of God
Wisdom is the application of knowledge, experience, good judgement. The key word here is the knowledge aquired over time and is now applied skillfully for a desired end.
The wisdom of God is the application of the revealed knowledge of the word of God aquired over time for a desired end. Please note that it must be revealed. If it’s not revealed, it’s not the word of God, and will never work like the word of God. This is where many are deceived, and the bible has categorically emphasized that those letters you see on the surface of the bible can kill.
If the word of God is God, and God is a spirit, then those letters we see on the surface of the bible can never be God because they are seen. Whenever you are sitting to study the bible, the Holy Spirit must be there to teach you through the spirit of revelation and understanding. This is the only way you can understand the scriptures.
Why The Holy Spirit Came
When Jesus was on earth, the word of God was present. Jesus himself was the word present. Remember, Jesus is the word of God in the spirit form that became flesh. Therefore Jesus was an embodiment of the word of God in spirit form that assumed the state of the flesh and blood for the purpose of salvation. The word of God was the one that died to save me and you.
It was not possible for him to do that as a spirit. He had to assume the state of a man to qualify. Therefore it was spirit that wore flesh and took on the name “Jesus” just to save me and you. That spirit is the word of God. So the original existence of Jesus in eternity is “The Word Of God.” “The word of God” is the original name of Jesus. He only took up the name “Jesus” for the purpose of salvation. All I am trying to prove to you all this while is that the word of God is a spirit. The word of God cannot be seen, it can only be revealed. And the personality that handles that aspect of God is the Holy Spirit.
it means those letters you see has the spirit side of them that will have to be revealed before the word can be of any benefit to you. In other words if you depend on those letters, you are worst off.
When you encounter the spirit behind those letters, that is when faith is formed.
St. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
This is a confirmation from Jesus himself that the word of God is a spirit, not just a spirit but also your life.
The Wisdom of God is First Pure
God is pure, holy, without sin. The word of God is pure, tried seven times by fire. The Wisdom of God is the application of the revealed knowledge of the word which is pure, holy.
1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1 Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God
The Wisdom of God is Foolishness to Man
This scripture explains exactly what the wisdom of God is. It would have been very proper to pray and ask God for wisdom in the old testament but not in the new testament. Maybe this will still prove to many people that God has already given to us everything that we will ever need in life through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
God had already made everything available to us, once a man is born again, born of God, everything that he or she will ever need in life is automatically made available, including the wisdom of God.
This simply means there’s no need to ask for anything again. It’s out of unbelief that we still ask. We ask because we think God is not aware that we are in need. Or maybe we think he is aware but he is just waiting for us to ask before he gives. But what of all the ones that we have asked before and the answers never came? or is it that God does not answer prayers again?
Many people still ask God for wisdom today, but the above scripture reveals that the wisdom of God is a mystery that was hidden and ordained to be revealed in our days for our glory.
The Wisdom Of God Is A Mystery
The mystery is the revealed word of God. When you sit on the word of God with the spirit of revelation and you are eating and feeding your spirit man, you are feeding on the wisdom of God.
What is the Word Of God
It’s recorded in the bible that the word of God is the wisdom of God and the power of God. Do you see why God should never answer a prayer in need of wisdom? or power? Because such prayers are made out of rebellion, laziness. I cannot call it lack of understanding.
Once you are born again, the next most important thing in your life is the word of God. Immediately after you are born again, you need to understand that your spirit has been starved for decades depending on your years. Your spirit was cut off from God, starved, death, till the day you got born again, therefore once you got born again, you should be in a haste to feed your spirit. The food for your spirit has the wisdom of God, the food for your spirit has the power of God, the food for your spirit has health for your body. The food for your spirit is the word of God. That same word of God is the Jesus that you are looking for.
Every christian wants to be like Jesus but I don’t know how many wants to spend three to five hours everyday eating the word of God with the spirit of revelation.
The only prayer you need to pray everyday is asking God for the spirit of revelation and understanding of the word of God. The word of God is your very life, if you reject eating the word of God, you are rejecting your life. Spend time to eat the word of God, one hour is not enough, people watch football for more than ninety minutes, people watch movies for six hours, these are things that will add nothing to their lives, but when it comes to what will give them life, they want to do it for thirty minutes.
Some of our lifestyles automatically place a curse on what we do. Imagine that you were God, assessing our value system. A Christian will spend three hours watching television but will complain that a two hours church service is too long.

Daniel 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
St. Matthew 13:54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
