Revelation means the ability to see and understand what God is saying. It is the ability to access the mind of God concerning any area of life. Revelation is the ability to interpret the word of God exactly the same way God sees it.

Revelation is purely God’s mindset on anything. It is forever hard for any flesh and blood to to access what God thinks about anything because God is a spirit and we are all flesh and blood. It just have to be revealed, and God reveals it to whomsoever HE wants to.

Psalm 82:5-7
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
Without knowledge, you cannot receive anything from God. it is difficult to receive what you do not have knowledge of, talk-less of understanding.
As believers we grow by knowledge and that growth is expedited by understanding of the knowledge of the word. Only sons can be given inheritance, children must be allowed to grow and mature first before they are qualified for inheritance.
An heir, as long as he is a child, difereth nothing from a servant.
Growth is enhanced by understanding, this is Why You cannot Succeed Without the Spirit of Revelation.

#1. Revelation will give you wisdom
psalm 110: 98-105
Possessing the Wisdom of God is the first Importance of revelation in the bible. Revelation is the cheapest, easiest way to get the wisdom of God. Revelation is also the highest form of communication with God.
It’s crucial to understand that during revelation God is communicating with you, there’s high level of impartation. This is when you are being transformed into the supernatural. Wisdom is one of the attributes of God transfered to you during revelation.

the word of God is the wisdom of God and the power of God. This is one of the most importance of revelation in the bible. The word of God must be revealed to you before you are able to access the power it carries.
It is the revealed word of God that is the power of God, not the letters on the surface of the bible. The word of God is God means that everything that God is made of is also buried in his word.
It is revealed in the scriptures that God used the word of God to create the heaven and the earth and all that’s in them including Satan. The angels of God were all created by the word of God. Therefore the word of God is the power of God.
Hence once the word of God is revealed to you, you automatically have a direct access to the power of God.

When the word of God is revealed to you, it comes with God’s ability which is the grace of God. The grace of God is the exceptional power of God to do anything. The grace of God is the presence of God.
When you carry exceptional ability to forge ahead when others are weak, the we say the grace of God is working.

It is not enough to just know that you are born again or a believer. Who you are in Christ must be revealed to you before you can access what’s your inheritance in Christ and assume your place of sonship, for example;

How to get revelation
The ability to have spiritual understanding of what you are reading is the power to translate information to revelation.
#1. Be born Again
You must firs be born of God before you can access God’s thought.
JOHN 3:2-8
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Born again simply means your spirit is made alive to God, your spirit is quickened, it now has the ability to communicate with God again. every mans spirit was dead after the fall of Adam. Except you are born of God, your spirit is dead, dead to God.
it does not mean your spirit is destroyed, just that it cannot access God nor the things of God.
#2. Baptism of the Holy Spirit
After being born again, seek for the baptism of the Holy spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. Once you got baptized, make sure you pray always in tongues to develop it. Those things you speak is the language of heaven.
When you speak the language, you are communicating with God through the Holy spirit. The bible advise us to always be praying in the spirit because we know not what to pray for. meaning we don’t even know what we need.
God knows what we need, so you allow the spirit of God to lead you in prayer to be able to pray according to the will of God. As you grow in speaking the tongues, you will start understanding it at a point, and by that point you now have the spirit of interpretation of tongues.
It was the spirit that gave birth to the whole earth.
The flesh profits nothing, the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
You need to understand that as a child of God, you are a spirit. God made you in his own image, you cant be flesh, God who gave birth to you is not flesh, you are a spirit.
Any knowledge of whatever has to do with God must come from the spirit, and that spirit must be the spirit of God.

#3. Meditation
You study your bible with meditation on the scriptures. It comes as a result of in-depth, steady, consistent meditation on the word without any distraction. You must learn how to sit on the word for hours. the word of God must be part of you. The word of God must saturate your spirit.
You don’t study the bible just for one hour, spend time on it. The word of God is your life. For it to in-satiate you, you must spend time on it, quality time.
You have to keep at it, you have to crave for it, you have to taste for it, there must be that desire, there must be that hunger. God satisfies only the hungry.
#4. Through Prayer
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
There is what is called, the Spirit of revelation. When this spirit comes on you, you will enjoy God, you will be studying the bible with in-depth understanding.

God is spirit, it takes the spirit to understand spirit.
Since it is the spirit of God, you ask God for it. I guarantee you, this prayer God answers you expressly, without an iota of delay, because this is what you need.
Most prayers are not answered because they are not actually what you need. The spirit of revelation is the foundation of your Christian life, this is your starting point as a Christian, if you do not understand the bible, you will go nowhere as a Christian, this is why many Christians are suffering, failures, this is why servants are on horses and kings on foot, no spirit of understanding.
