First, you need to understand what is Wisdom before you know how to get the wisdom of God.
What is Wisdom Generally
Wisdom is the application of knowledge, experience, good judgement. The key word here is the knowledge aquired over time and is now applied skillfully for a desired end.
What is The Wisdom of God
We need to understand what the wisdom of God is because it’s different from the wisdom we know in the world. The wisdom of God is the application of the revealed knowledge of the word of God aquired over time for a desired end. Please note that it must be revealed.
If it’s not revealed, it’s not the word of God, and will never work like the word of God. This is where many are deceived, and the bible has categorically emphasized that those letters you see on the surface of the bible can kill. It means if you don’t understand them, you will apply them wrongly and get the wrong result.
How To Get The Wisdom of God
Once you have been turned to God or born again, the next important thing is to eat the revealed knowledge of the word of God with zeal, commitment and consistency.
The only source of the wisdom of God is the word of God. We cannot get the wisdom of God anywhere else apart from the revealed word of God. It must be revealed, if it’s not revealed, it’s not the wisdom of God. Therefore the word of God revealed to you by the Holy Spirit is the wisdom of God. Whether we accept it or not, it cannot change. Looking for the word of God is much more important than looking for God as a person.
God gave us himself by giving us his word, but that word must be revealed. God is a spirit, that’s why God must be revealed to us.
1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
I personally like it like that, if not, fake would have been too many. If God reveals himself to you through his word, nobody can deceive you on that.
If you are born again and have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, then you are not far from the spirit of revelation and understanding because the Holy Spirit is the giver. You can talk with the Holy Spirit, you can pray to him, you can ask him to help you understand the bible. The Holy Spirit is a person, he communicates. Apart from helping you to understand the bible, he can teach you the bible one on one.
We get the wisdom of God as we eat the revealed word of God on a daily basis. The more you eat the revealed word, the wiser you are. For the best of result, you must be committed and consistent. The wisdom of God in us increases just like faith grows depending on the level of revelation you’ve got.
Philippians 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
Philippians 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Philippians 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Philippians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

This is apostle Paul talking. The only thing that was most important for him in this life was the revealed knowledge of the word of God. He said he has lost everything, just to make sure he has gained as much of that knowledge. This is a man who has written more than ten books of the new testament with depth of revelation, yet still yearning for more knowledge. Actually there’s no limit to the extent that you can go in God. The only way to God is in the aquisition of the revealed knowledge.
i don’t know how to make my people understand that the revealed knowledge is the only thing they need in life. Do you know that angels were created just for man. It’s in the bible, they are ministering spirits and their ministration is to the sons of men. Now, this is where I want to point your attention to; angel don’t hear any language or word than the word of God. There’s no other thing they will hearken to not obey, than the word of God. If you like cry hell, your tears means nothing God nor angel, but just speak one word from God’s word and the whole of heaven will stand to listen to you.This is just the reality of who God is. Nothing else, outside of the word of God.
Proverbs 24:5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
Proverbs 24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
The above scriptures simply means your level of spiritual strength is determined by the level of revealed knowledge of the word of God. This is how we build our faith by the accumulation of the revealed knowledge of the word of God.
Incase there are people that are not still understanding, I know we all go to church, even Upto give times a week for some people, we attend prayer meeting everyday and at least study our bible for ten to fifteen minutes a day. This are the standards we keep for ourselves, it’s never what the scriptures recommend.
What changes does those religious activities make in our lifes. Is this how we value God, that we cannot spend three to four hours everyday to gain the revealed knowledge of his word? You need to understand that anything you give most of your attention to, has become your God. We can only deceive ourselves not God. Some Christians only know that God exist on Sundays, every other days are meant for whatever pleases them, yet they proclaim to have God as their father. Worst still, some will use the phrase; “God understands”.
Some people will use their job as an excuse. That job has just become your god, the job will have to protect you, preserve you, guide. God is a jealous God, nothing takes his place. Anything that takes the most of your attention has become your God. This is what is depriving many christians of their detiny, they do not have the expected results, they work so hard and eat too little. It’s a curse.
whenever you notice any adverse condition, you should know something is wrong, you have entered the wrong track, you must reverse for the situation to change. Take a fast and pray, go back to God in repentance and find out where you have gone wrong.
