In other words, we were created to be like God. If God is perfect, man was made to be perfect too. Adam and eve were created as perfect beings, that’s why God was always coming down to commune with them.
That perception has not changed. The fall of Adam tried to twart the plan but Jesus intervened and restored man back. Therefore God still expect man to be perfect.

Our relationship with God is a journey. Before we attain any level of achievement in life, there must be a conscious mindset development towards achievement of the set target.
#1. You must be born again

Born again means to have a relationship with God. After the fall of Adam, man generally lost his place in God, man was separated from God. Jesus reconciled man back to God.
For that reconciliation to be activated in your life, you must be born again. Without born again, you cannot relate with God. Born again is the foundation through which a man can build his life to perfection.
#2. Make Up Your Mind To Be Perfect
You have to make up your mind towards certain target before you can get there. There are people who does not want to do or achieve anything too much.
All they want must be little, just for themselves and maybe the family; little money, small house, small car, no too much schooling, no too much, small bible studies, little prayer.
They don’t even want to know God too much, little everything. This is a mentality, and only God can change them.
God can only keep emphasizing the importance of the Holy Spirit, why you should spend quality time to get the revealed word on a daily basis, but no matter what is said and done, you can only achieve that if you have made up your mind to do it.
It’s all about going that far with with God, but that is the only way to succeed in your relationship with God. If you want to love God, you must love him with all your heart.
Therefore the first step towards perfection has to do with your decision to achieve that. I mean there are many believers all over the earth, but we are not all on the same level of faith.
It means we are not all on the same level of commitment towards obedience to what the scripture says.
Even after discovering how to be perfect in life, you must first make up your mind to be perfect before you will be able to breakthrough all the obstacles to perfection.
#3. Renew Your Mind – Develop The Mindset Of God
The third thing you do after discovering how to be perfect in life is to renew your mind. God is perfect primarily because of his mindset, for you to be perfect, you must develop the mindset of God by renewing your mind. How do you renew your mind?
The word of God is the mindset of God. You renew your mind by consistently spending quality time to study the word of God.
There is no other way that your faith can grow than than absorbing the knowledge of the revealed word of God. This is all that we are commanded to do.
It now only lies on how much time we devout to doing that on a daily basis that determines our levels and placements.
You cannot compare a man that prays for four hours everyday and kneel down to study his bible for eight hours everyday with another believer who prays for thirty minutes a day and study his bible for just an hour a day.
We Grow in God
Making such a great effort to find out how to be perfect in life sets you on a platform for spiritual growth. Our relationship with God grows, so is our faith, wisdom, power, favor, grace and everything that has to do with the attributes of God, they all pass through the growth process.
And nobody can grow from one feet to six feet in one day. Our growth as believers depends on the level of consumption of only one food, and that is the knowledge of the revealed word of God.
The Importance of The Word Of God
The importance of the word of God can never be over emphasized. The word of God is the power of God, the word of God is the wisdom of God, the word of God is favor, grace, love, life and every good thing you can ever think of.
The word of God created everything in heaven and in the earth including man. The word of God created all the angels, including Satan and his demons. The entire heaven and earth is existing on the power of the word of God.
Biblically, everything consist in the word of God is. Everything in the earth is being held in place by the power of the word of God. If the word of God withdraws his power, the entire heaven and earth is destroy, the sun, the moon and the stars will disintegrate.
Therefore the foundation of how to be perfect in life is based on the word of God. See how God used the word of God to make creation perfect. The sun has been in it’s place right from when it was created till now, same thing with the waters, the moon and the stars. These are all evidences of how the word of God is perfect.
How To Become A god

That’s why God himself advised us to seek first the kingdom of God and all other things shall be added. This is where many christians have missed It by thinking the kingdom of God is church activities. The kingdom of god is the word of God.
The word of God is God, the more you sit on the revealed knowledge of the word, the more you spend time with God, the more you sit with God, the more you are transformed to be like God. The more you are transformed, the closer you are to perfection.
The bible is our manual that advises on what to do, how to live, how not to live. God has a lifestyle, you can make that lifestyle your own lifestyle.
The Lifestyle Of Prophet Moses
To go further on how to be perfect in life, we need to study the lifestyle of Moses in the bible. Moses was one of the prophets that walked closely with God.
Moses was on the mountain with God for some days and by the time he came down, the glory of God was all over him, so strong that the children of Israel could not look at his face. God is light, and Moses in the presence of God was gradually transforming to the same light.
Moses was there for few days. How about Moses being there for two weeks? one month? How will he look like?
This is exactly what happens when we spend quality time absorbing the revealed word for hours on daily basis. This is the presence of God. The word of God is the almighty God himself.
Spending quality time with the revealed word is the only way man can communicate, fellowship with God. Whenever you spend quality time with the word of God, you are fellowshipping with the almighty God. You and God are communing.
Benefits of having consistent fellowship with God through the knowledge of his word
It’s on this platform of fellowship that transformation, impartation takes place. This is where you gain power from God, this is where you gain wisdom, grace, this is where God’s ability gradually becomes your ability.
This is our mountain of transfiguration, where we gradually becomes supernatural, this is where we gradually become gods.

This thing is garbage in, garbage out. Draw near to me I draw near to you. We were not created to live like God only but also to live for him.
God is light, the word of God is light, wherever light is present, darkness vanishes automatically. If you have not yet experience it, it’s because of your level of light, depending on how much time you spend per day on eating the revealed knowledge of the word and how often.
i don’t know why we sometimes expect the unexpected. Many wants to reap where they never sowed. Look, when it comes to God, you don’t have any excuse for not obeying.
If you cannot relate with or obey God because of your job, it simply means your job has become your god, if not, what kind of job would God not give you if you resign and pray for God to place you in a favorable place where you will obey God and spend quality time with God through his word.
Faith Without Work Is Death
Everything about God is by faith. In finding out how to be perfect in life, we have to walk by faith.
I am sure we must have heard It many times by now that any deal you have with God without faith is a sin. If you do not learn to trust God for things then you are heading towards total frustration as a believer.
If your job doesn’t allow you to spend quality time with God, you resign and believe God for a better job. This is what we mean by putting your trust in God, this is faith with work.
Faith without work is death. To trust God means you love him, to believe God means you love him.
How can you see a job that will detach you from God, and you still collect it, no matter the pay. It definitely mean the job has taken the place of God in your life and has become an idol for you. Definitely this is how christians worship idols unknowingly.
How to be perfect in life should be a subject of interest to those who desire a closer walk with God.
#4. Develop the love of God in your life
If you discover that the person you are trying to marry will not allow to spend quality time with God, you have to burst the relationship and believe God for a better one, If not, that person has definitely taken the place of God in your life and become an idol for you.
The person will become your idol. God is a very jealous God, don’t play with that. He has sworn that no one can take his place. If at all you want to see the wrath of God, let anything try to take the place of God in our life.
Is not as if there will be thunder or earthquake, but God will simply withdraw, and you should know what that mean, because the devil will takeover.
If you claim you are a believer, you believe in God, you trust in God, then God should be considered first in everything. That would mean you should never live in an environment that would not encourage you to pray and study your bible.
People list reasons for choosing where they live, and God is not considered anywhere in the list. These same people will claim they are believers.
I believe you learn how to be perfect in life to discover how to love God and relate successfully with him.
How To Love God
If you want to love God, it must be with all your heart, if not, forget it because you cannot love anyone or anything else first and place God second, except you are looking for trouble.
We joke a lot, I don’t know whether it’s unconscious or with purpose; someone will marry and will carefully and diligently make sure he or she doesn’t tamper with anything that will hurt the spouse.
Many will consciously ask the spouse; “what do you like?” “What do you hate?” And they will never go near there.
How many people treat God like that. Instead you will hear believers, people that are born of God making such statement as “God will understand”. Anything you do with God without faith is sin. This is simply the determinant factor in the quality of life exhibited by different believers.
If we want to be honest, anything we want to do in life, we must first consider if that project, adventure, journey or whatever, will enhance our relationship with God, if not, we cancel it. It must be God first. Our value system is a major determinant of the direction we take.

Many christians have tried in their love for God, but little do they know that they are spending more time on social media than they do with God. Anything you spend most time with has taken a greater part of your love.
#5. Love your neighbor
In learning how to be perfect in life, you will also discover how to love your neighbor as yourself. You must first love yourself before you can love me someone else, and if you don’t love God, you can’t love yourself nor any other person.
The love we are talking about must first be developed for God before it can now be shared to others. I am not talking about emotions. You can see that the love described above is not emotions. When you have been able to develop love for God, then be sure that you have come in contact with true love that will.
This is why you should never marry someone that doesn’t love God, that person will never love you. Anybody that loves God will surely love you. This is because God is love, therefore love can never come from anyone else.
If it’s not generated from God, it’s fake and you will soon discover that. Only that by the time you are waiting to discover, the harm might have been done.
What the society refers to love is emotions, infatuation, sex, a feeling. It’s very momentary, it doesn’t last, it comes and before you blink it has disappeared, because it was not real.
Love and Perfection
We have taken time to emphasize on love in order to link it with perfection. I initially said we grow in God. When you have grown to a level that you are able to develop the love of God, then you are entering perfection.
I don’t know how I will be able to elaborate on qualities that defines the love of God more than 1 Corinthians 13. You just need to read the entire chapter again and again to understand more about the love of God.
1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
1 Corinthians 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

#6. Develop a healthy relationship with the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is our helper, he came to help us. We need that spiritual strength to do anything in life. The Holy Spirit carries the grace of God, and you definitely need that grace in your relationship with God.
If we are to succeed in anything on life as christians, our relationship with the Holy Spirit must be cordial.
We easily develop relationship with the Holy Spirit by first being baptized in the spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.
