Causes of Curses

Even the bible has recorded that a curse causeless shall not stand. Any curse without a cause will never be effective. Therefore there are causes of curses and going find out what are these causes of curses.

What is a Curse

A curse is a negative pronou ncement against another person to place a limitation or abuse the existence of another.

There are certain things you need to understand about a curse. It is true that a curse causeless should not stand but if you don’t have this knowledge and your spirit is weak coupled with fear, a causeless curse can have effect on you.

Anybody with weak spirit will fear because of lack of faith. The truth is that when you don’t have knowledge, you will easily be deceived. Even for what does not exist, Satan will magnify it and present it to you for launch and you will fill your tommy with it.

That’s why you need the spirit of revelation, you need the revealed knowledge of the word of God to build your faith. Most of the curses that people attract does not exist, but their fear will magnify it, give it a body and name. Fear is destructive.

Secondly, as believers, we live by faith, Anything you do without faith is a sin, and it’s the knowledge of the word of God that build up faith.

Causes of Curses

The primary cause of every curse is sin, except for the ones that are causeless.

The Curse of The Law

We are no more under the law as believers, therefore no born again believer is expected to come under that influence. Be that as it may, the cause of the curse of the law is sin. The law was being guided by commandments and when you break any one of it, you are cursed automatically.

Paremtal Curse

These are curses from biological parents when you do not honor them according to the bible.

You need to understand that at certain age of maturity that you are well grown, you should relief your parents of certain responsibility by being independent of them and rather supporting them from your own personal income. At certain age, your parents may not have enough energy to still be earning income enough for the home, you that has been raised should take over that responsibility from them. Once you are of age, you have to include your parents in your pay roll.

They have been taking care of you from childhood, once they are advanced in age, you have to take care of them. This is the honor the bible is talking about. If you don’t do it, you dishonor them and that is when you come under a curse. Parents may not need to pronounce the curse because the bible has already done that.

Causes of Parental Curse

When you don’t honor your parents, you come under a curse. This is biblical;

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Ephesians 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

Ephesians 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Causes of The Curse of God

God do curse and this is the worst curse because no man can break it except God. The cause of the curse of God is sin or disobedience.
